My husband was called in and demoted. The reason they said was they were afraid it was too much stress and he already had a heart attack once. They said it was his health they were concerned about. Is this legal???
His heart attack was 2 years ago and he was hurt on the job and had an l&I claim for 2 weeks then was hit by someone who ran a red light but he still worked...they used his health as a reason for demotion.
