My employer reduced my hours which breaches my employment agreement

My employer notified me that they could no longer pay me for full time work effective immediately, which breaches my employment agreement. They offered a significantly reduced hour option.

If I do not accept the reduced hours and we part ways, how would this situation be classified? Would this be considered termination without cause since the employer is breaking the contract?
