My employer is trying to sell the company after 35-55 years in business. Dayton Ohio. We were just told last week on Thursday. Now this week I had jury duty. I am in my probationary 90 days. I was told on Tuesday (my probation (90 days) ended on Thursday of this week) that the president of the company has changed my probationary period to 120 days.... out of no where -- just because they're in a deal to sell the company??? What happened with my insurance, 401k, eye, dental benefits?? I believe this was or is being made up as they go along so they don't have to add me in as a hired on employee yet there's gotta be a law that pertains to this...
