Can an employer deny you vacation time?

I planned to go to Florida for a week the First week of October and put it on the calendar the last week of June I have only two days of vacation left due to my Motherin law had to have surgery so i took my other days for that and to help them at their home out state, so I was going to take vacation with out pay for 3 days. I was told since I didnt have enough time left and the other girl at work just decided that she wants that week off and she has vacation left i was told I could not take off. What are my rights in Ky?

Neither Kentucky law nor federal law guarantee you vacation time. The company does not have to allow you to take time off without pay if you have used all your paid vacation. It does not appear that the company violated any state or federal laws as you described the situation.
