Labor on military base

I work for a pizza buisness that has franchises in wilmington, southport, jacksonville & camp lejeune. My job is cashier. My employer pays me 500.00 (I'm listed as salary) every two weeks. I am required to work 54 hours each week. I receive this pay from a check and from cash (this is so I won't have to pay taxes on it according to the owner). I was recently told that I qualified to receive benefits but that it would be double what the male employees had to pay because I was of "child bearing age". I feel like I'm being ripped off because we all are salary but they receive more in their checks and cash than I do, but we've been employed the same amount of time. shouldn't I be paid time and a half for the 14 hours a week overtime I work? Also since I'm salary can they dock my weekly pay if I'm 2 hours late due to a doctor's appt? I gave them 2 weeks notice about it. Is it true that because we work at the franchise on the military base they do not have to post or follow NC labor laws?

Overtime, et al

There are a number of questions that arise in what you have said. Is your employer exempt from the provisions of the federal law? If so, could the state laws apply? I believe the state overtime law may protect you. The fact that you are being paid partially in cash suggests that things are not kosher. You can file a complaint with the NC Dept of Labor or you could contact an attorney. I would suggest Joyce Davis' firm in Raleigh or Bob Willis, also in Raleigh. I am not taking new cases now.
