Non Compete injurious...?
I joined a company as sales manager 2-1/2 years ago. I have been in sales and marketing in my industry for more than 30 years... nationwide. This week the whole sales force and sales management were given Non-Competes to sign or face termination. Would it be enforceable given my circumstance? If I dont sign it, I'll be fired. What should I do? I need to work and this agreement essentially makes me an indentured servant to the company.
