Is there a distance or time limit to where an empolyer can send me without compensation?

Can an employer decide to send me(non exempt)anywhere they want for as long as they want without compensation for travel? If I refuse can I apply for unemployment?

If you are an hourly employee and are on the clock then you. Are entitled to compensation. You should not consider the unemployment compensation without consulting an employment lawyer first.
