Is my employer required to honor a performance bonus that was part of my original offer? HR is now saying my compensation is too high to receive the bonus that was part of my original offer and paid out to my counterparts.

I did not receive my bonus for 2014. Other employees received the bonus. I did not receive it because I received a raise at the beginnning of 2015 that put my compensation at the top of the range for my level. My argument is that the bonus was part of 2014 compensation paid out in 2015. In addition, the bonus was part of the offer package before I received the bonus.
