Is it legal to dock an employee pay for being late?

We had an employee meeting where our boss told us if we were more than 5 minutes late the first time is a warning and the second time is $25, the third time is $50 and after that then we will be fired? They will deduct the money from our paycheck, is this legal?

It is legal as long as it is being done with notice and not retroactively without notice and it does no cause you pay to fall beyond the required minimum wage rate required in Florida. Hope this helps.
