If I sign a severance package - is it binding if they sell this site?
I work for a telecommunications company with 17 employees at this site - 5 of us have been told we are going to be laid off - but we haven't seen the official paperwork. The main company is trying to sell the teleport where I work. If I sign a severance package that gives me 30 days notice, and then the sale of this site closes prior to the end of the notice period - Would I still get my severance pay?
