If FMLA time carried over from one contract year to the next?

I teach with a contract that runs for 10 months from July 1 to June 30. If I take FMLA in one contract year, does it carry over to the following contract year? Is it counted cumulatively? Regular sick leave is not cumulative from one contract year to the next. Each year we receive new leave of 8 days.
