I worked the whole week of my schedule and was scheduled to be at work on Monday morning at 9 a.m. My DM was waiting on me along with another DM I’ve never seen before. I was read a script and terminated in lieu of notice without having any discipline write-ups. The last week I worked a male Hispanic was interviewed and set to train the next week. I was told by my DM there needs to be more males at the company. My gender is female and race is black. I had been with this company 15 months to the date. December the 19th I had earned my 1 week vacation as well as 1 week of sick time. Both were not paid to me by the company. I filed my unemployment, which I was granted. I asked the investigator what was the reason my ex employer gave. The investigator stated terminated, nothing else. The company paid me 2 hours for showing up and 2 weeks in lieu of notice. Earlier in my employment I filed a harrasment complaint with HR against another DM. Every since that I was constantly harassed, stood over by both co- workers and upper management when they visited our store. It became a very hostile environment. Was I wrongfully terminated?
