I work for a tax office providing income tax service, we do not provide you your 1040 once we complete your taxes, we save them for you and charge you $20 for doing so. You are supposed to be able to ask for them and receive them when ever you want. How ever after loosing customers for wanting them to file for free on line, you have to have your AGI number from the following year,
We were told we have to tell the customer it will take 21 days to get them, which is a lie!!
We are having to lie to people in order to let uper management to convince them to stay with us! This is not fair to us as workers to have to lie to them, and they pay us to keep there 1040 and have to wait 21 days for it! This is so unethical
