I was laid1 off 5 months into a back disability and job given to a coworker 2 months later
I went out on a short term disability to get a back surgery done. My employer laid me off 5 months later and then gave my exact same job to another employee 2 months later. I was due to return the month I was laid off. Is this illegal and justification ofr a layoff.
