Questions about pregnancy disability leave

The hospital that I work for only allows for 4 months of pregnancy disability leave and I started bleeding when I was 13 weeks pregnant. I am now 26 weeks and my doctor still does not want me to go back to work until after I deliver. I applied for Leave Of Absence in May and leave is almost up. They said said that they can put me on FMLA but that only goes for 12 weeks, which will end 2 weeks before I'm due which is Nov. 30. If I obtain a doctors note, do they have to honor it? If they replace me, and I have done all I can to secure my job, do I have the right to sue them? Please answer me. Thank you.

that's all

your company is complying with the law. you are entitled to up to four months of pregnancy or childbirth disability leave by state law. in addition, you are entitled to twelve weeks of family/medical care leave under federal law. the two leaves must run consecutively, for a maximum of seven months of pregnancy/childbirth leave.f
good luck!
