Can u sue an employer to get additional severance pay after signing agreement?

After 18 years I was laid off and offered 6 months severance pay. I signed the agreement without checking the company policy, later I found that the policy pays 9 months if you worked 17 plus years there. Even though I signed the agreement and was paid 6 months, can I go back and sue for the other 3 months? Thank You.
