I was fired from American airlines for accepting 5 dollars for a smart cart at DFW airport without any warning at all. This was my first offense.

I was fired from American airlines for what was considered accepting a cash tip. This was my first time doing something that would result in any type of discipline. I was fired without any warning. When ever the company conducts an investigation they must complete it in 30 days or I must be reinstated. In my case the company falsified the date that it was made aware of the alleged incident, in order to have a longer time period to complete investigation. The investigation went well over 30 days. The union is pretty much new to the company and is not to helpful for me at time. I am seeking advice to get my job back and maybe any other remedy if possible.
