I left a company where I was employed as an apprentice. I left after 7 months and gave no notice. I reapplied for a different position with the same company and believe I have been blackballed. I am still interested in working there. What can I do?
I left with no notice because I thought, as an apprentice, I was more of a burden than a benefit. I left about one and a half years ago. Since then I applied twice at the same company for a position better suited for me. Both times my application was not even considered beyond the initial phase although that has been a continually open position in this part of the country. I realize I made a mistake and wish I could simply explain myself to someone in the company.
