Hello I have been a branch manager for this company for 8 years and they recently had me and some others across the state take a demotion and pay cut they told us it was because they were eliminating all operations in all areas / branch managers. However

So when I was an operations a few years back the guy who I answered to was my boss had unexpectedly passed away and they had me doing the job of an operations manager and an area manager and leading me on thinking I was getting the job then after they hired a new guy to take the area manager position they wanted me to train him and I refuse to cuz I was so angry they had led me on for so long taking care of the whole area all through the holiday season but decided to hire this Latino guy because he spoke English and Spanish and I didn't. Long story short the guy quit on them they had nobody else but me so I was handed the job. I have taken care of the area I have made lots of money for them I have never had any issues or have been written up for any reason. So after all of that they decide to tell me in February that they're doing away with all area managers positions and there will only be regionals from now on but now I'm starting to figure out they lied to me and pushed me out of my position. Now after the demotion it hasn't even been a month they have a new guy who is Latino and speaks barely any English who is going around to all my stores asking employees for phone number schedules but they never once said one word to me about this guy until I found out from a store manager who was very concerned about the whole situation. I have been with this company for 8 years and have very good relationships with all of my customers. I started out as a crew member worked my way to a crew lead then a supervisor project manager operations manager branch manager then now they make me take a pay cut and tell me they're eliminating my position but then hire a new guy and call him a Zone Manager which is basically exactly what I was doing as an area manager/branch manager and now the Regionals and even the vice president will no longer answer my calls or call me back when I leave voicemails I even called HR and they sent out emails with no responses. Also when the senior regional manager had actually made it over to my area we had lunch and watched a couple of my store and afterwards when we were outside alone with my operations manager Alex he had asked us why we don't hire more Latinos and I told him that's discrimination I hire whoever is qualified for the job and he told me Latinos work hard and are very reliable and I need to hire more. I'm pretty sure they are discriminating on me because I don't speak Spanish and I think they pushed me out to give this guy my position because they know him in some way or they only like latinos as management? So I guess my question is do I have a case and if so how do I proceed?
