Have I been discriminated against because of gender and age?
I am a male over 50 who has been passed over for promotion five times in the past three years. Those positions were given to women under 35 years of age. The last two attempts for promotion occured recently. The last promotion attempt I was denied because I was told I did not get my internal bid in in time despite the application having been rec'd the day after the position was opened. The employer interviewed one person; hired that person; and would not let me interview despite a company policy requiring all who applied must be given the opportunity to interview. Have I been discriminated against because of gender and age?
