Golden Umbrella Insurance

I am considering employment at a small (less than 20 employees) company that is well established (third generation) in Florida but want to insure against business failure. I am interested in a policy that would cover the loss of the business for any reason - act of God (tornado, fire, etc.), bankruptcy, death of the owner, etc. I understand that this type policy would not cover my termination for other reasons.

I am interested in purchasing a policy for $500,000-$625,000.

Thanks for your assistance and guidance.

I would check with an insurance company. Most loss of business policies will not cover your termination, but you may be able to custom make a policy to fit your needs.
