Falsely accused of Sexual Harrasment

My husband went to his shift at 4:00 he was at the front counter where there is cameras and all the customers and other employees are he needed to get to the printer to get a paper that he must have with himself at the beginning of the shift he tapped a female employee to get by and went on his way she never complained or even made a gesture of disapproval, however several minutes later a manager called him in and confronted him about sexually harassing the female employee, he did not hand him a write up or any formal evidence or a formal complain about the incident he just brought him in the office and began to chew him out, now the female employee has talked to my husband and told him she had no idea what he was talking about, my question is my husband had a terrible experience that nite and was treated so poorly he had to step out of the building to cool off and the manager insisted telling him what he did was wrong but not to leave because he had to close for the shift, I would like to know what can be done he lost hours that day and now the environment in the workplace is very uncomfortable because he feels everyone is looking at him. what can he do or what should be the next step.
