Does this qualify for Defamation At Work?
Lubbock, TX, Hello, My girlfriend was terminated from employment at a Fast Food Restaurant after a "customer" said she was missing work because of drugs and not because she was sick. This "costumer" is a female that was a friend of ours up until the day before. We have been to the hospital, received diagnosis and medical scripts for Gastroenteritis, Severe Dehydration, and Severe UTI. Of which all specify to not handle food. Has been sick for 2 weeks now and the antibiotics are finally winning. Drug tests from hospital can be requested if needed, all clean.
