Does this come under liquidity damages?

Hi,

I have a lawsuite going on over breach of contract with a company who sponsered my H1b.

I left the company due to no-paymentlate payments of my slaray.
Before I resigned, I was suppose to join a new assignment(client) through that company after two days. It was a one year contract.

now the company is claming damages of profitsalary they were to earn in that one year ??

Does that come under liquidity damages?
employer himself isn'ta reason for that.
