Does my ex employers non compete agreement apply to the offerings of a newly acquired company?
I was laid off 3 weeks ago. I know that the company I worked for is potentially going to purchase another company with a differing but complementary offering. As I am looking for work, do I now need to worry that my non compete will apply to those new offerings, even though when I worked there they did not exist?
