Does granting maternity leave depend on the recovery time given by the doctor?
The HR at my wife's job denied her 12 weeks of maternity leave because the health certificate from her Doctor said she will recover in 8 weeks. Her job has more than 50 employees and she has worked at the company as a full time employee for over 3 years. She was on maternity leave February of last year and she was given 12 weeks. She delivered by C-Section in march of this year.
