Do we have to allow intermitten FMLA for birth of a child?

I realize in general the answer is no, however, we allowed it in one case at a different location. Now an employee wants to take 8 weeks after the baby is born and use FMLA for well-baby checks, etc afterward. Do we have to allow this since we allowed the other employee to use intermittent FMLA for a birth?
