Did the company I leave forget about my clawback bonus?

I took a job for a large company with a clawback sign-on bonus. The contract stated I would have to repay the bonus in full (within 90 days of leaving) if I left the company within one year. I left after 6 months, went through the exit interview and was mailed COBRA paperwork. However, two weeks after leaving the company, I've heard nothing about re-paying the sign-on bonus. Is it possible the (giant, Fortune 500) company forgot about it?
