Defamation of Character by a former employer
What are my options in regards to my former employer giving me a very bad false reference. that does not reflect my annual employee evaluation. I have been out of work for over six months after relocating and didn't under why I would get as far as a reference check and then hearing nothing back from the companies I was talking to until a prespective employer FYI me on yesterday to never use this company as a reference again because their reference for me is very bad..
