Can they use a "use it or lose it" policy when
I currently work for an at will employer and put my two weeks notice in. I was told I would not be paid for the two weeks of vacation that I have earned. They state they have a "use it or lose it" policy but I have gone thru the handbook and there is nothing stating that. I had to work a full year before I got my first week of paid vacation. I have been here a full 3 years which means I have earned 2 weeks of vacation which I had originally scheduled for December. I was offered a position with another company so I didn't get a chance to use my vacation time. Can they withhold my vacation pay when I have earned it.
