Can my position be eliminated and the company have a temporary person perform the same duties?
A coworker's position was eliminated but the company has three contract employees on site doing the same job with the same title. Additionally, my position (there were two positions) was eliminated. However, a contract employee was brought onboard prior to the position being eliminated, I trained the contract person, and the person is now performing my job duties with the same job title.
