Can my employer force me to use pto that I have yet earned to cover a furlough? After my pto runs out they are forcing me to use up 50% of my yearly time to put me in a negative balance
I’ve been furloughed one day a week. My employer is forcing us to use pto to cover this day. Once my pto runs out the employer is “offering” us the chance to go into a negative balance to cover those days. When I asked to not go into a negative balance I was told I must. Can they do this
