Can my company make me use the restroom during my rest/break time?
Company in California with over 1000 employees. I work 8 hours a day and 40 hours a week. Our policy states we get two rest period of at least 10 minutes and no more than 15 minutes if we work over 6 hours. They make us go into a break aux/state to use the restroom and it counts in our total break time which if exceeded the 30 minutes per day will result in a write up which can lead to termination. I got a bladder infection from holding it in. Is this legal?
