Can employers penalize tardiness by taking away vacation?
My employer has had a difficult time with employees consistently coming in a few minutes late. Recently, he decided to implement a penalty for tardiness: if an employee is late four times in a month, he loses four vacation hours that were supposed to be earned that month. Is this legal?
