Can I demand a commission for a deal that did not close?

I worked for five years on a large software license deal that would have generated me a commission of $100k. At the last minute, my company added unreasonable language to the license agreement pertaining to a patent issue they have known about for years. The customer refused to agree to it. The deal was killed and I got nothing.

Do I have any recourse?

Thanks very much!
