BOSS WITHHOLDING MEDICAL INS. FOR 1-1/2 YEARS

I HAVE BEEN WORKING FOR A SMALL TRUCKING COMPANY FOR NEARLY A YEAR AND A HALF. WHEN I WAS HIRED I WAS ASSURED MEDICAL INSURANCE, JUST AS ALL OF THE OTHER EMPLOYEES, BUT THROUGH ALL OF MY EFFORTS I STILL DON'T HAVE IT. MY BOSS HAS COME UP WITH A BUNCH OF EXCUSES(MOSTLY BLAMING IT ON THE OWNER)NOW EVERY TIME I EVEN MENTION IT I GET CHEWED OUT. AND GET OFFERED TO BE TAKEN "OUTSIDE" TO SETTLE IT. I FEEL THAT I COULD HAVE A SOMEWHAT SERIOUS HEALTH PROBLEM SO I HAVE MADE A DOCTORS APPT. BUT I WILL HAVE TO PAY FOR IT MYSELF(IF I CAN). WHAT CAN I DO?

premiums withheld?

in addition to what already has been said, if premiums have been withheld from your paycheck for insurance that's not been obtained, there are major violations of edd rules and regulations, and also labor code violations for failure to pay what is owed you.
if this promise has been made to many people in your company, it is worthwhile to have an attorney pursue the claim, rather than yourself as an individual. you need to talk to an attorney experienced in employment law. if you are in southern california, please call me for an appointment.
good luck

Breach of contract

It appears you have a claim for breach of contract. You may possibly have more claims, but I will need additional details in order to fully evaluate your situation. Please call me at 949-727-2630 or email me at gsm@lopezmorris.com if you would like to discuss this matter further.
Sincerely,
