Able to sue upon Post Job Offer versus Job Posting Online

I've recently interviewed for a job in person and saw that the job posting was listing the salary at 40-42,000. When I received the job offer letter they offered 36,000. I then sent in a counteroffer and was then declined the offer. I later went back online to see if the job posting with the salary was there, the job posting was however they had removed the salary. Luckily, I took a screen shot is this fair ground for a decent law suit?
