I separated employment from the state of Tx banking my sick time hrs of 483 in June of 2007. My plans were to return to work in a TX State position within a yr, which I did, assuring not to loose my sick time. I called Accesshr in Austin, TX to verify my separation date in April of 2008. I was told by Accesshr the wrong separation date causing me to loose my sick time. I feel this was a huge costly mistake that Accesshr should be held accountable for. They are sorry for the mistake and do not feel they are.
This is documented in my file. This was 20 yrs of sick time lost. This is not rt.
Also the State of Tx owes me travel pay that I would like to collect. Would someone advise me please?
