Is my non compete still in effect?
I work as a salesman for a company with a 2 year non compete contract. 20 months ago I resigned with 2 weeks notice, was ask to leave that same day. 2 day's later they called and wanted to counter offer, we met for lunch as they did not want me at the office, I accepted the counter offer in writing. They did not ask me to sign a new non compete. I will be resigning again to work for a direct competitor is my non compete valid since I formally resign 20 months ago and accepted a counter offer but did not sign a new non compete agreement?
