my employer voided my active fmla case because my other application expired. can they do that.
My employer is stating that if i have two active fmla applications for myself and for my child, one voids the other when one expires. is this true? No I did not use the 12 weeks allotted, and it is done annually (intermittent leave) The date on mine ended in June 2025 and my son's was just updated so it was supposed to run from feb 2025 thru to 2026. Mine was June 2024 through to 2025. They emailed stating that one voids the other when (1) expires.
