my employer listed a bonus on my last paystub but refuses to give me the actual bonus check due to my resignation. is this legal?

I recently resigned from my employer of two years. When I went to pick up my last check I was told that employees who had been with the company for over a year had received a bonus but those who had resigned would not receive the bonus. however, the bonus was listed on my payroll stub and the actual check was printed and in the office. The administrator just refuses to give it to me because I quit. is this legal?
