discrimination - brain tumor

After 20 years at a company my boss of 8 months gave me a horrible review. After the review I told him I knew what he was doing - he wanted his old admin in my seat. 2 days later HR gave me a package or a list of additional duties that could not be performed and said they would fire me - make a choice.
I have a brain tumor and think this is part of it. He sent an email to my group saying I was laid off due to RIF, yet he is replacing me next week. Do I have any recourse but to sign the package? Other people were laid off in other departments, but not under the same situation.

Discrimination - Brain Tumor

This sounds like a potential ADA case. It does depend on how that tumor effects you and how it is percieved by your boss. However, the key difference between your layoff and the others is that you were replaced. You should take a look at our webpage www.madufflaw.com for further information, and I would strongly urge you to contact an attorney.
