altered document
I have altered a document for a client of my financial planning firm's without obtaining the necessary signature from the client due to time constraints. My company now faces a $5-10K fine for the offense, and they are making me personally liable for the fine. I am an assistant to a registered CFP for whom I did the work. Is this legal? Thank you so much for any info you can give me.
