Work place fairness

Sorry but I have a few question that I'm unclear about from the statutes read so far. I work for a car dealership as a mechanic. We have standard time for each job we perform. I've been told we are considered contracted , exempt employees. Which isnt correct to what I'm reading. We are closely related to commission based pay. (Oil pan pays 10hrs of work, takes 10hrs to perform the task) That being said. When I signed my contract with our dealership I signed for for $40 an hour from 8am to 5pm. Dealership is located in texas.

1. As a mechanic. Should we be payed for being at extended meetings that remove us from producing or finishing jobs? If so should it be at least minimum wage.

2. Can our employer force us to attend meetings outside of our working hours? Should suspension from work be tolerated if we miss these meetings outside of working hours?

3. Bullying, retaliation, harrassment from our boss. If a job is taken away from myself and the given to a mechanic that is payed less for more profit benefit for my boss is there anything that can be done about this? Also I've been threaten to be fired and told I'm payed to much to complain about this issue. Also suspended and written up for made up issues because I've addressed him. Also been told the same thing that also I have a negative attitude for bringing up issues of him doing warranty or insurance fraud. I've always address him respectfully. This has happen to several mechanics.

4. Signing a contract to the dealer for $40 an hour at the level mechanic I'm currently at. I've been threaten to have a reduce in pay if I do not increase my mechanics level as of now. Example- I'm at $40 an hour having 3ASE's makes me a level 2 technician. Our corporation requires 8ASE's if you are a level 1, which I am not and dont need to be.

5. Training travel pay. Should our employer pay at least minimum wage for travel days. Example- it takes a day to fly to the training facility and one day back. Should we be paid for those 2 days because its considered a possible productive day missed? If so should it be paid 8 hours of pay or our scedualed 9 hours a day.
