What can I do if a fellow employee of mine is sending untrue accusations to my personal address addressed to my spouse, and I can't prove who it is. Can the company be held liable for failure to investigate who is harassing me?

A fellow employee has been sending harassing notes to my wife at my home address falsely accusing me of cheating with a fellow employee. Can the company be held liable for not pursuing an investigation as to whom this person is?
