Was I fired or not?

Hello my name is Ron D. I worked for be shell gas station speedee mart. I Been there 5 years I have never called in, and I was the only one who would cover everyone else's shifts or coming in on my day off. until Western oil bought out the company. I had to take time off for a week, which was stated in my doctors note that even after the week was over I still had to remain off my feet. In that short time span the paperwork process has changed for the end of the shift duties. So with everything going on I had to re learn everything again for the ending shift reports. I do admit I struggled to get back into the groove of things but started to hear rumors about upper management wanting to get rid of me because of my paperwork , yet I had no clue because no one has came to me to let me know that there was still improvement needed to made. Only that my paperwork was done wrong nothing else nor did I receive any help. So doing my best i had a lot going on in my personal life that I did let get in the way of my work one night. I showed up the next morning to speak to my manager and she completed insulted me by pretty much saying that the only reason I still had a job was because they didn't want to have to work my closing shifts. The following day at around 12 p.m I let my manager know that I wanted to take a paid personal day off to be able to mental compose myself together so that I wouldn't let my personal life interfere with my job. She told me I had no personal days but I remember the new owner telling me and my co-workers include my manager that we got 10 vacation days and 3 paid time/ personal days. She was arguing that I couldn't do that because they had no one who wanted to cover my shift. But in the company policy it states In order to call in it had to be done 4 hours in advance which is what I did. After she stated that the conversation was over an hour later she messaged me saying that 'per her bosses orders I was to have 3 days off paid'. Leaving me to understand that I was to take 3 personal days off. On the day of which I was was to return she had called my house phone letting my mother who lives with me know that since I didn't show up for the previous 3 days I was to loose my job. This all started on May 12, 2020. My issue is that today May 31,2020 my Ex- manager is now saying that I volunteerily quit my job. I'd like to know what is the situation if I was fired or not and get an opinion coming from a neutral and professional point of view. This way I can know what my next steps need to be because I am currently unemployed. Thank you very much for taking your time to read this I hope the hear something soon.
