Should I indemnify my former employer in our gender discrimination settlement?

My former employer sent a settlement agreement for me to sign. They have agreed to 1099 me the settlement under 100% emotional distress and want me to agrees to "indemnify and hold the Company harmless from any claimed deficiencies by any governmental entity against the Company for any amounts claimed due on account of the payments made in Paragraph 1 above, including any amounts paid by the Company as taxes, deficiencies, fines, penalties or interest."

Should I agree to this? Is there risk I will incur associated with agreeing to this?
