Should I consult with a lawyer

I work at a title & payday loan company in mobile, Al. I was told by the district manager to market our loan products on Facebook. I have emails of her asking me to do so. Several of my FB friends inquire and got a loan. Many of which went bad. Because they are my FB friend, I was told if ibdont collect on the accts in two days I would be let go. Like I stated I was told to market on my personal FB. Now Im being held accountable for them not paying. I have proof where I tried to collect on the accts using FB and also while calling from the company phone. But I was still removed from my store placed under supervision until the owner of the company come down. Should I seek a lawyer for being held reliable for something I was asked to do??
