Regarding retaliation - I live in CA. Yesterday, 10-31-17,

A Board Member gestured to his stomach, made a ball type shape with his hands then pointed to my stomach and said what is that to indicate I was fat. I said what, you aren't thinking I'm pregnant, he said God no, I'm 51. The President walked in, I told him but I was nervous, upset, kind of tried to play it off and chuckled. The President laughed, which I get. But during the Board Meeting I was still upset. I went to HR, during a break, the Board Member apologized. I didn't want a big deal out of it, but what do I do if the President retaliates? I was supposed to go back into the Board Meeting and the President snapped, asking me what I was doing. I take the minutes. For two years, I've always taken minutes at the second half of the day of the meeting. This time I didn't.
