Recently accused of "sexual harrasment" are these claims false and unwarrented?

I am employed at a college where I recently was accused of "sexual harassment" by a student, who claimed that they felt unsafe after a sent them an email that although personal, had no sexual innuendos, quid pro quo, or to my belief could be construed as "sexual harassment". The email was a simple declaration of happiness, and a thank you for helping me through a dark time in my life. As a result, I am now banned from certain areas of campus, some that directly affect me financially (2nd job) pending an investigative committee. What can I do? I'm feeling lost, and backed into a corner where I am fighting for my self esteem and tow places of employment that I desperately need.
